Thanks for the help guys, i do travel on the highway from launceston to where i work which is 110 all the way there but as i said i only sat on 90 but as for the problem im buying a car to drive to work them mighty boy will become the weekend car, now if i could seel my rx7 id be fine lol

Toughening up an f5a

Hi guys im about to have to do a rebuild on my lil f5a and im wondering if there if is any way i can prepare the engine for the punishment of sitting on 90ish ks an hour for a 2 hour (200kish) round trip most days of the week any advise would be appreciated

I have a similar problem i had the new f5a in my boy working now it decidly wont work it cranks and wants to go but doesnt quite get there, what should the timing be at and is there anything i may have connected incorrectly that may be the cause for this issue?

ok ive fixed the problem lol dont know how but i did i moved the linkage by hand out of gear now it works fine!

gearbox issues

ok ive done my f5a to f5a engine swap but the gear box (my original one) seems to be stuck in gear! i dont know what i could have done any ideas??? im stumped as

lol basically my problem is it seems like its stuck in a gear no matter where i actually put the gear box and befor anyone asks yes the selectors are connected lol

yeah lol i got that i need to know how the cable housing is held on so it doesnt move with the cable!!
