Re: Just got my van dynoed

And that is at the back wheels. My guess is that at standard there was about 50-60hp at the back wheels so yes it is massive and it is fun to drive.

Fuel Magnets – Fact or Fake?

I have seen articles on the net about blokes putting magnets on their cars fuel lines and getting improved performance and economy. There are also plenty of articles debunking Fuel Magnets referring to placebo effects. Well after talking to a bloke who is adamant that they do work as log as they are...

Improved Air Filter

G'day I travel a lot of dirt roads and so get dust and things in the air filter. They are expensive to replace and so I have a solution to extend its life. I have made a prefilter out of a mesh stove exhaust fan filter. I folded it so that it was 4 layers thick and cut it to be the same length of th...

G'day

Where did you read that?
Maybe there is another throttle body we need to look for.

With the price of stock air filters, the pod is a good idea.

Clutch Kit

G'day

I am putting AWD running gear from a ute and a Baleno G16B in a Van.
I have been looking around at clutch kits and am annoyed to find that...
Carry kits are 50% more expensive than similar kits for other Suzuki vehicles, and
No heavy duty kits are available.

Has anybody found a compatible kit?

Re: 2000 Carry Van compatability

G'day Watch this space. I just bought a YG Holden Cruze (Ignis AWD) at the auctions for $50 plus fees ($115). It is a stat write-off but only has minor damage around one of the headlights. The rear diff looks the same as the Carry but has a lower ratio of 4.11:1 Alloy wheels and flash sound system a...

Ooh, they are pretty! Source? Google for Changan Star 6350. It is the most popular Chinese knock off of the Carry Van. 95% of parts are a direct fit. eg http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Changan-star-6350-6371-truck-headlight-headlamp-refires-lens-headlight-assembly/1422321415.html?ws_ab_test=201407_1...

Re: Kei's 2001 Carry ute

I'm trying to convince a mate to boost his Carry ute, but he's afraid of smashing something in the driveline and not being able to find parts. Personally I think he's being soft, so I'm very interested to see/hear how yours turns out. Notes... The driveline is tough. My turboed G16B Carry van goes ...
