excuse my ignorance Brayden, Are you referring to ditching the standard coil? If so how do I wire up the Bosch coil, with resistor or with out...

Digging up an old post but seems kind of relevant to my na f8b.
I have converted to electronic ignition(Crane cams XR700) and want to know if replacing my standard coil with a Bosch GT40R will gain any improvment in performance?

Thanks mate, The only reason I was putting a catch can was more for the breather aspect. Because I dont have the standard carby filter with the hose from the breather running into it. I was thinking it must still need to be vented back into the carby? I was going to do it via a catch can.I've seen g...

I would love to get rid of the charcoal canister as I want to put a oil catch can(breather) there due to my new weber carby.
Can you confirm 100% that the charcoal canister is not needed and if so what do I do with the 2 lines running to the top of it?
