Re: WANTED 550 Motor Good Working Order

The cradle holds the engine and the subframe is what the cradle bolts to. The subframe is different from auto and manual on the gearbox side. You must use a MB cradle and alternator bracket in an MB from memory not the hatch cradle, The hatch cradle bolts about 30mm to far forward on the drivers sid...

I had to angle the reflector down due to the glare for oncoming drivers. Also because of angling the ...

Re: is this a fair price to get the boy painted?

i have never ever heard of this, sounded a bit ludicrous when i first read it wouldnt the main part of the cost of painting a mboy come from the rust removal and primer? which youd need to do either way I would tend to agree either way preperation is the key for a good result. I think the biggest d...

Re: rims: size, customize etc

only one i can find. i like big rims always look nice big rims are fine :) , but the total rolling diameter is the issue. if you want 14 inch rims go with 165/55 or similar which is still bigger than stock diameter. Bigger wheels/tyres require alot more power(rotating mass) to rotate and also affec...

Apart from being way bigger than the standard diameter, Why would you want this size tyre :NFI:
