Re: brake conversion, and st90 workshop manual coming soon
heya. just had my carry van upgraded to hydroboost. thankfully we got a lot of JDM surplus carry van parts here LOL :) Really helped a lot in braking. But yeah still need to convert to discs in the front. Mine's all stock all drums. Unfortunately due to brake bias issues i crashed and rear ended a v...

Brake Bias
Hi mates. Just recently had my carry van crash (ouch). and rear-ended a vehicle. Before this happened, i had installed a hydroboost to the brakes to aid in better braking. Drums both in the front and the back. Now remembering what happened during the crash. Upon hitting on the brakes the van fishtai...

Re: supercharger, or a weber setup?
Fitting a weber carb would be FAR easier than a supercharger setup. Only thing is that you need a side-draught carb. Not sure if Weber make those, but Stromberg do. Other option is to use quad carbs off a bike! hahaha!!! hmm brayden, any materials you'd think i would need if i'd go for the ITB styl...

supercharger, or a weber setup?
Hi mates,
which is more feasible and has lesser problems in installing?
1. install a supercharger (using the f5a's supercharger) and install it to the f10a?
2. convert the whole intake system to a weber carb set-up?
has anyone made one yet?
goal is for more performance
engine: f10a.

Re: F10a to F6a sohc efi turbo
If you make a bellhousing adpater plate you've also got to space the flywheel out the same width as your flywheel adapter. A flywheel adapter plate should be perfectly aligned or it will give you issues. 2 Bolt holes aligned my gearbox so I worked off them exactly! same issue too. two holes aligned...

Re: F10a to F6a twincam efi turbo
Whatever you do, don't snap any of those little vacuum solenoids. They arn't cheap to replace. You'l probably have to cut the throttle body off and remount in facing out the passengers side. Don't bother with the intake until you've got the engine sitting on engine mounts in its correct position. t...

Re: F10a to F6a twincam efi turbo
hi guys, it's me again, and finally the project turbo super carry will resume. but i will be needing all your help to build a fun van. finally, as mentioned by brayden, i got hold of an f6a efi sohc turbo engine taken from an LJ10 by its previous owner. it is complete, it has the ecu with it as well...

Do they have worked K10a engines over there? I wouldn't mind beefing mine up. I'm struggling to find information on them let alone upgrades. For a 1000cc DOHC turbo there is something hellish holding it back, even in the wagon R I drove. Go as big and as large as you can j-six. You won't have any r...

Mmm... G13BB into an SK410... interesting. If that'll fit, would a G16A from a current model APV van fit? ...Saw a GA413 Carry van on eBay a month or so ago with an engineered G16A + Turbo conversion... i guess my apv's g16a would fit but it would need a lot of custom work esp for the engine mounts...

The reasons an SOHC F6A from an Every would be easier to install are obvious - the motor would be coming from the same body shape, so the manifolds, engine mounts, oil system are already configured correctly. It would be very close to a bolt-in swap. Assuming you got the F6A DOHC from a Cappuccino ...

F6A twin cam will be just as difficult to install as a K10A. You really need the single cam F6A from an Every if you want to make the job easier. can you pls explain further as to what problems should i be encountering with a dohc f6a than a sohc f6a? as far as i know the hard part would be the wir...

F10a to F6a twincam efi turbo
hi guys,
it's me again!
looks like i'm going to settle for an F6a twincam efi turbo than the k10a =(
the question is, would this be a direct bolt-on to the supercarry, esp to the transmission?
any comments would do help before i prepare my budget on this.
thanks mates.
