Re: Washer Bottle Relocation

What about putting one inside the front guard?  The VW Amarok has one mounted there, good use of empty space.

I think that is a bit like when matter and anti-mater meet, it would be the end of the universe as we know it!

Re: what seats can fit in a MB wit little mods?

I used some out of an early model Swift. The distance between the rails is the same. I've used the MB rails and just had to drill a hole in the seat for them to fit.

FS: F6A SOHC - HOPPERS CROSSING, VIC

I've got an F6A SOHC engine out of a Jimny for sale. I have taken the intake manifold and dizzy off, but the rest is there. Don't know the condition of the turbo or engine.

$100.00 ONO

Also have a carby manifold from an F8B if anybody want's it.

Cheers,

Re: Raising money in a MightyBoy

Great stuff guys. I've wanted to do this for a couple years now, just haven't got myself organised.

I want to know though, where did they manage to get a Mighty Boy for under $1000? Almost worth going over to Perth and see if I can get it cheap at the auction. :)

Re: Free, Real Performance Boost

Get some CRC Battery Termainal Protector and spray on to keep them clean. Helps keep the corrosion away.

Re: Intake manifolds - carby type

Mmm, interesting. The EFI manifold I have from a Jimny has the same ports and I was going to ask about them. On mine they match the F6A head but not the F8B of course. The F6A came from an auto I think.

My question is how much would they affect the flow?

Well, had a look around for air filters/boxes and found this little baby.

Would look pretty wild under the bonnet.

Commodore pulley, I'll have a look. Thanks.

And the motor bike filter sounds like it might do the trick. Keep forgeting how these things are smaller than a lot of bike engines out there. :thumbup1:

Re: And so it begins

Well, pulled my finger out this weekend and did a little bit more on the boy. Made up a couple of mock mounts to see how to fit the alternator and the blower. She all fits, just. :) Going to put a tension pulley between the crank and blower pulley as I am going to fix the alternator and blower. IMG_...
