Re: Radio code/pin

Check any manuals or booklets that may have come with the car when you bought it?

Or maybe rip it out and replace with an aftermarket one and  :fingersx:. Haha. I actually have no idea, but hopefully you can get around it without having to pay Toyota.

Re: need certain speedo cable for my mightyboy

Sorry, should have added that. I have no idea if it has or hasn't been rebuilt at some period in it's life. It was an ex-company car for an air conditioning service in Ipswich though, so high K's would be expected.

Oh and all numbers match up. :D

Re: Introduce yourself!

G'day John.

Welcome to TMB :)

You must own one of very few MB's over there?

Anyway, good to hear from another MB owner from another country.

Cheers

Dave

The F8B in my Hatch is coming up on 340,000 k's. Still goes pretty good, not the healthiest/most reliable though :)

Re: f5b on qld p plates?

I don't think P plate drivers can drive anything with mod plates or something like that. From what I've read you could still drive a Cappo though, because it comes standard turbo and it's only a tiny engine anyway. Personally, if I went from F5A to F8B, I wouldn't bother getting a mod plate or anyth...

Re: crazy idea someone should try with a boy

Dave i don't think this is to hard how ever the arm to pocket ratio prevents it :D I personally lack the skills/know how to pull something like this off. Come to think of it, it probably wouldn't even be road legal, so you could just hack the shit out of it (Not that I'd hack the shit out of a perf...

Hahaha, thats awesome!
oh and if anyones thinkin of going f6b i highly recommend not. parts are non existant in this country, most mechanics and even a few suzuki specialists dont know what it is. you mean f6A right?
I could imagine what a nightmare it would be.
