Re: Polyurethane Bushes (Complete Kit) - made by PolyTuff
I realise this thread is almost a year old now, But that just means people have had 12 months to fit, experience, and report on these bushes! So for anyone who has fitted these PolyTuff bushes what are your thoughts good or bad, compared to fitting factory rubber bushes? Preference between 70 duro a...

Ball joints and tie rods
Hi guys. Just a quick question as Im about to start collecting parts for my soon to be started MB rebuild. As I will be using both SA Swift struts and hubs, Im just wondering if its best to use the Swift ball joints and or tie rod ends or stick with the MB ones? I dont have a Swift to pull parts off...

Re: Ongoing website changes, issues and fixes.
Hi Brayden. Not sure if Im the only one having this problem, or maybe its ment to be like this, but I cant log on from the teammightyboy.com homepage. When I try to log on it comes up with- Error Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet. But if I click on 'Forum' first an...

Re: suzuki mighty boy brakes front disc
Im hearing you! Id rather pay the extra and enjoy the freedom to take the car wherever I want as well, but with multiple cars the rego and insurance all starts to add up.. The Torana doesnt get driven much anyway, and didnt when it was on full rego. But of course theres a good chance that could all ...

Re: suzuki mighty boy brakes front disc
There are no restrictions on km's per year but by rights you are only allowed to travel within a 15km radius from home for 'road testing' unless taking part in an organised car club event, cruise, display, etc. No restriction on traveling for repairs but you would need to be able to justify it if yo...

Re: suzuki mighty boy brakes front disc (heritage rego)
Just looking through some old posts.. RE- heritage rego, I know in Qld it has to be 30 years old or more to get the cheap / restricted rego as Ive had a number of cars registered this way over the years. And it doesnt go on the date the model was first released, it goes on the date on your ID plates...

Re: 13x5.5 wheels and tyres. Offset?
Thanks Brayden. Angle grinder I have! So the +38 should fit nicely on the rear without the tyres coming past the guards, but sounds like I will need +40 or +42 for the front.. This doesnt cause issues with clearance on the inside edge of the wheel / tyre? Does the use of the Swift GTi struts and hub...

13x5.5 wheels and tyres. Offset?
Hi guys. Im looking at a set of 13x5.5 wheels and would like to fit the 175/50/13 tyres. Im wondering what the best offset would be to keep everything from sticking out past the guards (to keep it safe and legal!) as well as avoiding any clearance issues with the inside edge of the wheel or tyre, as...

Re: Hubs and brakes
Thanks again Brayden. "With the 1" drop there's still a good chance the rod ends would foul on the chassis under full suspension compression, but you could choose to cross that bridge when you come to it." Is this due to the Swift parts being used or will the same problem occur when l...

Re: Hubs and brakes
Thanks Brayden. Please correct me if Im wrong - I read that SA struts with SA hubs and standard height HD springs will bolt straight on, except for brake line mods, and give about 1" lowered compared to standard. But depending on the combination, going too low with the Swift struts can cause cl...
