Re: Hi, I'm new here......this is my ST90.

Hey guys, update time. It has been a bit of a slow rebuild due to me smashing my left ankle back in November and being unable to walk/work for 3 months. Body has been done, new windscreen in, wheels painted as well as all the external plastic. Suspension bushes have been done, as well as KYB rear sh...

Re: Is there different diff ratio gears available

After a bit of googling, the st90 diff measures 1280mm and the Datsun 1200 diff measures 1300mm. A few guys in NZ have used them in their carry vans and utes. The Datsun 1200 sedan has the H145 3.9:1 and the ute has the H165 4.1:1. Other ratios are avalible for the H165 as well, 4.3, 4.4, 4.6, 4.8.....

Re: my cheap chinese import motor photos

Thats a bit to much for me...especially in a van. In a ute would be ok, with their lower center of gravity....less likely to 'do a richard hammond'....

Farm fresh and ready to be bead blasted..... http://i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag138/low_r31/20130808_165709_zpsb1b2ca93.jpg There is a little rash on the lips which I will remove on the lathe after I get them blasted. So easy....I have cut down an old pintara axle so I can clamp that in the lathe...

Re: Front suspension different between models?

Despite the fact that they look similar the SK410 was a major model revision for Suzuki, and the majority of underpinnings were changed. This makes component swaps harder than a bolt-in job. Probably worth mentioning that the design of the SK410 steering and front end geometry is not much better th...

Nothing ever does mate.
I would like to try to get this little rice-bubble to actually handle, so the need for decent struts is important. Also, while we are on the suspension topic, has anyone fitted swaybars to a ST90?

Re: Is there different diff ratio gears available

Has anyone considered using a Datsun 1200 ute diff? 4.1 ratio and able to be upgraded to disks quite easily using Nissan R31 calipers and backing plates. They would have to be close to the same width.....

Re: Hi, I'm new here......this is my ST90.

Ordered tyres today ( through work ) and getting rims bead blasted next Tuesday. Also ordered some KYB rear shocks and some new bushes for the rear springs. Going to make some adjustable rear spring shackles and use some 2 inch lowering blocks for the rear. Still at a loss what I am going to do with...

Re: my cheap chinese import motor photos

Thanks mate! Just the kind of information I was looking for. I would be happy enough with just a complete inlet manifold setup to bolt onto a one of our f10a's....as long as it came with injectors, TPS and water temp sensor you could use a G13a dizzy for the CAS. Run it off a Megasquirt ECU ( which ...
