Re: Rogan's Alto Works Project

Wow reading though all of this has been amazing!
I'm almost done doing a k6a conversion to my 87 alto works, up to the wiring loom now xD and you've just given me so many ideas on what I can do after.

Also I'm trying to find out what happened to my old k6a box, it might be useful to you.

no pics yet, as it's still just sitting inthe car, i can take pics tonight, i'm not sure if the manifold will fit the f8b. you'd have to do a bit of an ask around with people who know.

f5a turbo with ecu needs work

i just thought i put it out there and see if anyone would be interested in buying my old f5a after i swap it out for my k6a. known issues: turbo isn't happy, probably would need a new turbo, needs a next exhaust manifold gasket. No other known issues ( i'd would have fixed those things if it weren't...

i've only got spare motor bits, sorry. the only difference i would there would be is that the AWD box has the bit for the tailshaft. so if you wanted to convert yours to AWD later, you could. you'd have to ask around though i guess. The box is at my mum's so i can't get any measurements for a while,...

if you really get stuck, i've got a spare 5spd gearbox for my alto RS-R which i set aside in case i had any problems. But since i've got a k6a now, my old f5a gearbox, is now pretty redundant. I'm not sure which kind of condition it's in, but it was fine when i first got it, with no grinding. (got e...
