Brayden,
Thanks for the help - yet again.
I'm thinking I'll get some cork (or similar gasket material) and make one up. Then I'll put some Hylomar on to help with the seal.
I've attached the three photos now I know how to do it.
Regards
Hammy

help Needed with Hatch (800 - SS80V) Timing Cover Seals/Gaskets
Yet again I am asking for help... Just replaced the seals on the front end of the Crankshaft and Camshaft - all went good. Come to fit the timing cover seals and surprise surprise, the part I got was the wrong one for my engine - even though the rest appears to be OK. The part numbers are correct fo...

Useful Parts Catalogue
Just stumbled across this site - Megazip
Megazip Suzuki 800
They have detailed parts list for the SS80V (apparently 3 different types sold in Pacific)
Even appears to have parts for sale and some prices
Clearest diagrams I've seen.
Hope this helps an is not a duplicate...

Re: WANTED: Flywheel for F8B Engine
Thanks to Bayden for the information that the F5A flywheel can be modded to fit by removing a bearing.
But if someone has got another flywheel, at a reasonable price, then let me know.

Re: Distributor cap for 1984 Hatch 800
Thanks again for your help. So would I be right in thinking that the main difference between the F5A and F8B are the bore and stroke and the size of the carburettor? Has anyone put together a list of what's not common that I can refer to? I did scour the forums, but couldn't find anything specific. ...

Distributor cap for 1984 Hatch 800
Hi all, As you can probably guess, I'm new to the Suzuki scene, so even though I've scoured everywhere I could on this site (and many others) I still struggling to understand what parts are common between the various early 80s Suzuki three cylinder cars. Anyway, I've spent ages looking on this site ...

Re: WTB: F8B or similar 800cc Engine and Manual Transmission
Brayden - Thanks for the comment. I've got both of these in the garage. I expect to be looking for several other parts as well. I've got a mnanual subframe already. My plan is to build an entire subframe withe running gear and engine/gearbox then do a complete swapover. My warped mind thinks this wi...
