Black digital dash
Hey all, I have got a digital dash and i LOVE IT although id like to see what the colour would be if it was black to suit my boys interior. has anyone got photos of a painted digital dash?

You could try taking the spark plugs out and give them a proper clean or buy new ones. i had the same problem with mine once and it was because the choke spring let go and therefore the choke was always being sucked closed. and also check the ignition points / timing.

The secondary throttle opens by vacuum. there should be a hose just below the carb opening that should connect to the vacuum pot. the vacuum pot connects to the secondary throttle and pulls it open as the engine rpm increases (engine vacuum). Correct me if i am wrong or if you can do a better job ex...

hey all,
im cruising the forums and i cant seem to find an updated answer on where to get a good tach for the boy. i have looked all over eBay and such and cant seem to find one.
Ps. dont have a lot of money to burn on it so looking for a budget but decent looking one.

hey all,
just curious if it is possible to change the green glow of the hatch digital speedo? is it a bulb somewhere or if i wanted to do i need to un-solder and add a different colour LED from the actual board?

Yeah cheap stuff, i was looking at some other peoples projects and they seem to do the job. With those ones you suggested earlier (link) are they made from proper materials (glass and steel)? im just thinking i may as well buy the housings once and not worry about it down the track. http://www.ebay....

Thanks for the reply and good to know its not worth getting those good looking but useless ones. so you recommend a nice 90/100 or 50/90w halogen bulb and will that give me a maybe 75% increase in road lighting?

thanks for the reply. I spent a bit trying to remove the darn thing and measured it up I belive I could make it fit. I do have a set of Sony component speakers in the rear door cards that used to be mounted pretty badly in the doors then dash, I didn't fancy the door mounting all to well. I guess I'...

I had a look at the points gap and it was just under the .4mm spec so i adjusted it accordingly. She revs like a dream now
