possible engine swap / upgrades

I am struggling with the lack lustre performance of the f5a 4 spd...and am in desperate need of 5 gears and something a little quicker! I'm trying to find out (which I doubt) if any of the turbo suzuki motors bolt in, or if any bits - turbo manifolds, inlets etc will bolt onto the existing engine......

I have had this sitting in the shed for two years now. It took me two years to build, and now it never gets driven as it needs new front suspension...but I dont have the time or the space anymore so I am trying to bring myself to selling it :( I am purely looking for expressions of interest at this ...

HA....$8500 USD for the conversion kit...thats not even the whole motor!

might look at turbo'ing the stock motor!

TYRES

I'm looking for 4 tyres for a 13x5.5 rim. around a 50 series profile.

Does anyone either have tyres or know of a place to get them cheap...ish!!

The guy's name is John Hartley. I have been briefly chatting to him regarding the adaption of the busa motor to car gearbox. I'll post more info when it comes to hand.

was hunting around seeing about the reverse gear problem and apparently - only runour so far - the guys with clubmans in the uk that run busa motors use an electric reverse gear with a compressor and belt type system...no pics or details as yet...but hoping to have some more info soon. the rascal wi...

Hayabusa motor?!

Just a thought that is completely pie in the sky type stuff...anyone ever attempted a hayabusa motor into a carry...or any other suzuki for that matter??

I was trawling the net and found a golf or two with a busa motor and a few go kart's with them..

Hi,

I have an 88 carry tray back...and am having some issues locating the engine number for regency :(.....any one know where exactly it is?
oh if it helps it's a 550cc engine..dont know what model though :?

I didnt even realise they made a two stroke one! It would be a project and want to upgrade everything...but i think it will be one headache after another unfortunately.

1979 Carry - two stroke!

Hey everyone. I'm looking at purchasing a two stroke '79 carry. Are there any major problems i should be looking at with these? Also the brakes are dodgy as all hell...need pumping 4 or 5 times before it even looks like stopping!...basiclly I would like to know if I can upgrade to later model parts ...
