Re: Muffler replacement
That depends on what you plan for the future concerning mods. If you plan to keep the F5a for some time, just cut the pipe back to healthy steel & weld in the new part/s as required. If you want a performance exhaust, you'll need to step the whole system up to 1.75 inch (best size for 800cc to 1...

Yes it has been done - there is a search function up to the right that should find the thread for you.

Re: Show us your shed
I've been looking to build a shed too - 9M X 12M, 2 storey. Not so likely to happen for now, plan was to put it in Parents back yard. It would have given us 3 bays & a workshop with living quarters for myself in a 9M x 9M mezzanine level leaving one bay clear for a hoist. I was quoted a tad over...

Re: Converting Ute into a Trailer
This has been done a few times. One thing I have not yet seen is two tray sections siamesed into either a single or tandem axle trailer. The search function on the upper right should bring up threads on the subject

Re: car cameras
They can be used that way - I have one in my Jackaroo that has IR motion detection & IR night vision. anyone walking past the front of the car gets recorded (switches on automatically for 30 secs when ignition off). You need to consider power requirements (does it need a remote power source), si...

Re: Wanting to rebuild Fronts drums on my 84 carry
Any decent brake shop will be able to have your shoes rebonded with new material. Replacing the drums if they are not within tolerances for machining might be harder. Failing all else, look for restored cars magazine at the newsagent - restoration businesses advertised. Or google BHSS, they're based...

Re: is this boy worth the money?
Not hard to throw a manual in. Mine was originally auto but had been converted to manual. I didn't get the clutch pedal & cable with it so ran auto when I reassembled the pile of parts. The manual needs a custom adapter to mount in the auto engine cradle (K frame). On a larger vehicle I'd consid...

It does have it's very own level of cool. Executed well, it would look good.

Sounds like 'Sarge' got to 'polish his boot' on the defect issuers 'tailgate'. Saves you needing to fill out a complaint.

Re: cops the mb and a fuel cell
I'd have a talk to the 'approved person' who plated the mod for you. If you can formulate a report that points out the fuel cell is legally & safely installed then the cop has to rescind the defect & eat humble pie. It may also be worth talking to TMR standards division staff to see if they ...

Hatch & MightyBoy do not share any body panels (aside from floor pan), some hardware & most driveline parts cross over.

I knew someone would have to bite if I left the bait out long enough By the way, I don't have money enough for alcohol but sometimes wish I did.

Re: Mighty Boy Front Grill
Psi_Wagon i have some brand new ones, but depends how much you wanna spend! What would your starting price be on a new grill? Mine is only just hanging on one screw. I had been looking to build a custom job but can't find the honeycomb sheet I want (same as Morris 8 used, looks like very early radia...
