I'll try to get some over the weekend. I think it might be a bit different to the domestic ones - the bird at the radiator shop looked through her catalogue, but they were slightly different - they didn't have the temperature sensor (or some other sensor?) that plugs in at the bottom.

WTB: 88 Alto Works Radiator

Just after a radiator for my 88 Suzuki Alto Works RSX (CA72V 550cc twin cam fwd turbo).

My current radiator has a few leaks - Ive got some quotes for repair, but thought I might try a second hand one if anyone has one?

thanks mate! Yep, I think I will just use the plugs I used for the F6A, I'm sure they would be similar enough.

And Brayden, you are correct, the bonnet of my RSX states the same plugs the NGK website said to use. My RSR bonnet doesnt have this sticker though.

Just a question on spark plugs for the 550cc DOHC F5A Turbo. I used the NGK website to find what plug I need, and it came up with DCP8EVX. So I went to Sprint Auto parts and they said they dont have that plug (tried to tell me its an Iridium plug, is that right? I thought Iridiums end with 'IX'??). ...

WTB: CP21 89-91 Alto Window Regulator

Following on from this thread - http://www.tamon.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3904 - it looks like I need a new right hand side window regulator. (if anyone can tell me otherwise, Im all ears). This is for a CP21 Suzuki Alto Works RSR, 4wd round headlights - with power windows. I have a feeling though ...

ah yeh. I know the car was imported about 5 or 6 years ago, but I dont have access to any paperwork at all. Unless Transport SA might have a copy on file.

So at this stage its very unlikely I would be able to get it complied!

perhaps it was a personal import? Because the only other way to get a car complied and registered that is newer than 89 is to go through a RAWS workshop that can do that particular type of vehicle. And an alto works isnt on this list: http://rvcs-prodweb.dot.gov.au/sevs/sevsindex.htm (to get it adde...

Cheers for that - Im guessing the authorities wouldnt know that piece of information though...so would there be any markings on the car anywhere that say what year it was built in? I havent found any so far.

Thanks

what year is my Alto Works RSR?

I always assumed my Alto RSR was a 91 model, because thats what the seller told me...but now I am trying to find some proof of this. If it turns out its an 89 model, then its possible I can get it complianced. Here is a photo of it: http://3amdev.com/simon/alto-rsr/photos/as-purchased/IMG_2587.jpg A...

I have now discovered that I think the problem is in the gear that moves the boomerang shaped cog. The gear I am talking about is the one that attaches to the electric window motor (or the window winder handle on non-electric windows). Even when I turn this gear manually, it just spins freely - and ...
