Re: Alto RSR 04/89 - The Registered One / The Black One

Well it sorta runs

But mainly with the MAP sensor un-vacuumed - but connected

Also managed to get a compression test and it was something like 60/110/60, typical  still better than the F5B

Re: Alto RSR 04/89 - The Registered One / The Black One

Why not just run all the sensors from the f5b? Swap the sub looms over? Yeah, that's what I'll be doing; swapping inlet manifold, distributor and coolant sensors over to the F5B stuff F6A Ecu plugs completely different so that wont work Unfortunately the loom that came with the F6A is missing the d...

Re: Alto RSR 04/89 - The Registered One / The Black One

F5b loom with f6a engine should work, they share same head and other bits, isn't only difference the f6a runs an 02 sensor? The actual engine should run ok in my opinion So far I've noticed: Starter / Alternator sub-loom has different connector toward the main loom Inlet manifold sub-loom has diffe...

Re: Alto RSR 04/89 - The Registered One / The Black One

What do people think about trying to use the complete F5B loom and ECU with the F6A?
Or F5B loom + F6A ECU?

Looks like the pulley was meant for Auto F5B Sohc 12V non-Works https://www.hillsidekonnection.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/IMG_20140309_161854.jpg https://www.hillsidekonnection.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/IMG_20140309_161907.jpg https://www.hillsidekonnection.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/IM...

Re: Alto RSR 04/89 - The Registered One / The Black One

Trying to route hoses for the oil warmer water ring thingo is a pain, no wonder its usually bypassed. Any tips for cleaning out the interwarmer? Ended up putting a stock turbo back on, the Hitachi water flange is different and wouldn't work. Dump pipe that came with the importer engine was slightly ...

Re: Alto RSR 04/89 - The Registered One / The Black One

So all my struts I have seem to be matching hole spacing down the bottom https://www.hillsidekonnection.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/IMG_20140205_172631.jpg Admittedly I've only tried the white ones on the black altos knuckles - and they definitely don't match. The Swift spring seat is lower than ...
