Re: Joe/Tom's Mighty Boy

Long time no update... The Mighty Boy hasn't moved for almost a year :( I took it out the the club Sunday at Summernats last year and the leaking water pump got significantly worse. I was then lazy and didn't fix it before the next motorkhana so decided to enter the stock CE Mirage daily at the last...

G10 carb options

Hi all,

As per the title, I'm looking at what other options I've got for the carburetor on my G10. Anyone know if there's anything out there that will bolt straight up? If not, assuming I can get an adapter plate machined up relatively easily what else would you suggest?

Cheers,
Joe

Don't like your odds sorry mate. Thread is 4 years old and SA is referring to South Australia.

If I had mine running again by then, for sure, but I'd call that unlikely.

Depends how motivated I get over Christmas I guess.

Re: Survey about website changes

Not a fan of discussions like these moving to FB but can definitely see it happening. It works fine for the daily conversations and idle BS stuff, but it's got nothing on a forum for a anything even remotely technical or something like a build thread. Catch is that I'm fine with FB on my phone but e...

Re: Washer Bottle Relocation

Cappuccino bottles are often used under the cowl in MX5's? No idea if it would fit an MB but it is relatively shallow and narrow.

Red underside but white engine bay?

And no, I don't get how the rear is meant to work. Maybe the tailgate doesn't open?

Re: roll my guards?

Depends on offset and tyre choice too.

I've run a 175/65/13 on 13x5.5 +40ish wheels (which basically the same size as a 175/50/15 on a 15x5.5 +40) and it rubs on the inners but is fine on the outer.

Edit: and Brayden beat me to it.

VF SS. Watched it happen. Was sitting in the Cappa, parked at the corner of the carpark, about 20m away from where he looped it.

Re: Canberra Mighty Car Mods Meet

Only a slightly delayed reply...

I wasn't there until about 12. Good cross section of cars but was it just me or was there a higher concentration of dickheads than your average car show?Lots of people trying to do their best Mustang impersonations leaving the event.
