Mk2 Swift going to the bin - any parts worth stealing from it?
I bought a 1L SF Swift last year and grabbed the G10 from it which is now in my Mighty Boy. Since then the Swift has been sitting in my parents back yard and I've been meaning to get rid of it for some time but a deadline has finally appeared as dad has bought another project for himself which will ...

Some time has passed apparently. Still looking if anyone has a set. Still not fussed on colour or condition.

Hell yeah.
Full floor gone suggests you're building anew floor, possibly with a transmission tunnel? I had just assumed it was the body kit from the start but this just got a lot more serious. What's the end plan?

WTB: MB Front suspension top mounts
Hi all,
Chasing a pair of Mighty Boy top mounts for the front shocks. I'm in Canberra so if you were to that would be ideal, but happy to pay postage.
Cheers,
Joe

Re: Joe/Tom's Mighty Boy
Rules are pretty simple. Drive around the flags in the prescribed course. Every flag you hit is +5 seconds. Getting the course wrong is slowest time +5 seconds. There's about 100 official courses in the CAMS handbook, but many clubs make up their own. Most clubs will set up a number of courses over ...

Re: Joe/Tom's Mighty Boy
Can do! Unfortunately the last one for the year is in November, while I'm in New Zealand. So I won't be getting out until February at this stage. Maybe a khana-cross before then if I can be bothered? Results in from the weekend. 5th outright, first in class for me, while Tom had a pretty shocking ru...

Re: Joe/Tom's Mighty Boy
More khana today. Results won't be out for a couple of days but from comparing times with others on the day, I definitely won my class and probably did pretty well overall. Catch is that there's now water pissing out of the water pump, so we'll have to take a more serious look at that. And for somet...

Re: Joe/Tom's Mighty Boy
Swift struts and springs did arrive yesterday, but I didn't get the chance to put them in. Instead I spent way too long stuffing around with a new radiator fan. Eventual success though. It's in and wired with it's own relay and bypass switch, meaning I can turn it on whenever and not wait for the te...

The dash is definitely from an AW11 MR2, but the hard lid on the tray suggests more? Anyone know about the car?

Re: Joe/Tom's Mighty Boy
With three months between events I figured I was more than safe in being able to un-dodgy the last few things for the swap and have it back together in time. Then I figured that I'd have plenty of time, so no need to start now. Then I realised that I had been saying that for 10 weeks and crap the ne...

Re: Later model Swift G10A + gearbox into a MB
Solved! With the worst kind of solution. Spent a couple of hours chasing wiring and making sure everything was going to where it was supposed to. Didn't change anything. Now works. No idea how or why, or what was happening before, but presumably I've moved a connection somewhere enough that it's not...

Re: Later model Swift G10A + gearbox into a MB
3 months later and the next stupid question. Sorted the distributor wiring and the car was running fine, but admittedly hasn't moved in about two months. Moved the battery today and now no crank. The battery is now inside the cabin behind the passenger seat, with a 4 gauge cable running back to the ...
