Re: So, I bought a Suzuki - new user
Welcome Lil' red ute, I would recommend contacting Roads And Maritime Services. The regulation, in my opinion, opens a real can of worms. To paraphrase "any engine more than 20% larger than the largest original optional engine for that series . The Mighty Boy - SS40T only came with a 550cc F5A,...

Re: Spotted
Spotted in Sanctuary Point (actually by the wife) an orange Mighty Boy with a spoiler.
Her comment "Even when I get away I can't get away from them"

Tez, told the wife what you said. Her response? "I feel his wife's pain"

m00neelee play time
Okay, the story so far. Bought my Mighty Bay Early in the year. I call it Tonka, the wife calls it "Why the F*** did you buy that?" 20130413_100553.jpg The intention was to just tidy it up and use it as a daily runabout. That was until I realised how much that needed to be fixed So in my s...

Re: Question regarding F8C
The F8C is an evolution of the F8B design, so the block is almost identical, but the rest is completely different. Apparently putting an F8C box on an F8B block is a real challenge, so the reverse is probably difficult too. Manifolds are completely different (port shape/size and mounting points). I...

Question regarding F8C
Apologies in advance if this has been answered already. I have searched but couldn't find anything specific. Thinking outside the box a little I was trying to work out if the F8C long motor was interchangeable with the F8B. That is put the F8B gearbox, inlet manifold, ancillaries etc. onto the F8C. ...

Re: Gauge problems
They where both not working when i bought the car. Easiest test is the temp sender unit. 1. Check all the fuses. 2. Check you have power getting to the guages. They share power from the same fuse. 3. Connect the wire at the temp sender unit directly to earth. 4. Turn the ignition to power. If the t...

Re: Gauge problems
Did they both stop working at the same time?
I had a look at the wiring diagram and both the sender units earth at their end, not through the instrument cluster, so if the cluster earth is faulty nothing in the cluster would work properly.
I would try looking at the issues seperately.

Re: Wanted 12" or 13" standard rims
If you can't find any closer i've got a couple of sets of 12" in Queanbeyan.
But i'm with Arctic Alto, KE laser rims look good, but you need the centre caps and dress rims.
