Re: G16 motor in a 1999 Carry van.

Even overtaking it slips at highway speeds. I will take the box out and see If I can get a heavier pressure plate again and...

Re: Nano-technology

http://www.fluidmasters.com.au/images/saeviscosity.gif monograde sae 30 works from 0-40 celsius better when at 100 degrees celsius and not like grease at all when cold as a matter of fact on a very cold winter morning just on zero degrees it flowed very well, not to mention it stays on the bearing ...

Re: G16 motor in a 1999 Carry van.

The M series engines use a narrow head design similar to the K series. The twin cam head isn't much wider than a G series single cam. right on much like modern motorbike tech also trimatic would still need bell rotated to the correct angle somehow cut and shutting. Im just going to wait for the nex...

Re: G16 motor in a 1999 Carry van.

Just wondering if any other struts are compatible with the suzuki carry 00-04 model as Id love to use 4 x 114.3mm stud pattern instead of 4 x 100 You mean hubs, right? Just redrill your current ones to whatever stud pattern you want. ;) The rears might require welding before redrilling, depending o...

Re: Nano-technology

best oil is the one you make yourself, look up a monograde 30 and 40 combine the 2 together and you get the correct oil for almost all australian moderate conditions. eg. 30w40 All other oils below 25w are useless in our moderate to hot climates yet we have to swallow 15w40, 10w40 and 5w40 as the on...

Re: G16 motor in a 1999 Carry van.

Ive been told the carry supposedly is unlike the jimny and sierra diff by suziworld.re
This doesnt leave many options for diff upgrades unfortunately or replacements.

It looks like a Hitachi diff like on other suzukis and 8 bolt.
Maybe I can fit a datsun ute 1200 centre?

Re: Suzuki with shaft drive motorbike engine around 800cc

yep thanks for the clearance, Side on is harley conventional twin as opposed to motogucci vtwins and bmw boxers but sequential gearbox was the main interest and lightweight but there is little suzuki available to suit in water cooled so will have to keep looking or just go the other way with the lin...

Re: Suzuki with shaft drive motorbike engine around 800cc

would really need to be a conventional V twin not a side on one, Id prefer a single thumper 650cc single instead then but hard to find with a shaft only drive. Atm since its looking unlikely to find a suzuki engine Im just going to look at engineering another suzuki auto motor eg. 560kg x 3 = 1680cc...

Re: Suzuki Hatch with motorbike engine

anyone found more info on this little green beast? I think even a small 700cc bike engine with sequential gearing would be awesome for a hatch the problem is sorting out the rear drive when layed out in the back like this one has done. I reckon it would be easier at the front using a Honda v4 from a...
