Re: what seats can fit in a MB wit little mods?
That's no worries Tez, I probly could put the stockers back in but I've dummy mounted the SAAS seats & I'm happy with the driving position, they're just not exactly what I want so I'm going to change them for recliners. It's only an easy days work to make another set of mounts for new seats or f...

Re: what seats can fit in a MB wit little mods?
I'm in the middle of doing a seat conversion in my Mighty Boy, I'll be using something racey/sporty with some decent side support & I want the seats to fit lower in the car so I've cut the standard rearward seat mounts out & I'm redoing them to sit about 20mm off the floor. The problem I'm f...

Re: construction needs (help)
In a perfect world you would have a boost referenced timing retard facility so that as the boost levels rise, the timing retards to prevent detonation, some of the older Jap carby-turbo cars have boost retard built into the distributor so you might be able to adapt a dizzy from say, a Charade turbo?...

Re: [Victoria, AU] Classic Japan 2013 - Sunday 1st December
How about we meet up at the Mcdonalds in Burwood. In Burwood road not far from Warrigal road. Then its about a 10km drive straight down Toorak road. That Maccas has a really small carpark & there's a Police station right nexdoor :shifty: How about the Burvale carpark down the road a bit? (cnr. ...

Re: Melbourne Guys - Been a while...
October to January is my busiest time of the year, I can only do Oct. 27 or Nov. 24.
The Classic Japan show at Como is locked in for Sunday Dec. 1st though so if I can't do the cruise I'll see you guys for that one.

Matiz 5 speed into 'Boy?
Has anyone done the conversion? I'm interested to know what's involved because I can get a low KM 'box (& whatever other bits are req.) at the right price. Bellhousing pattern the same? Mounts ? Flywheel/Clutch? Shift linkages? Driveshafts? Length/Spline? Any known issues with the 'Woo gearboxes...

Re: Automatic transmissions.
I have to admit that an auto F8B with matching box is a surprisingly nice package Well after driving the 'Boy around for a few days I'd hafta agree with you there Brayden, it's got enough acceleration to keep up with traffic off the line & it will sit on 100 km/h without sounding like it's goin...
