Re: Free, Real Performance Boost

I've always used Vaseline on mine.
I hear it's good for battery terminals too. :snigger:

Re: Mattys Mightyboy

Thanx mate, these were the narrowest/lowest I could find so I've got a set on the way for my Boy, I would have prefered a 155 but I'm sure these will be right.

Re: Cobra race seats - swap for stockers.

Thanx Brayden, I've taken the tray out but the problem is that the seats are too wide across the top 'wings' & also the base where the adjustment knob :keke: is fouls the body so they just won't work without surgery. The std. M.B. seats aren't too bad for legroom but I will end up sourcing somet...

Cobra race seats - swap for stockers.

These were in my Boy when I bought it but they're no good to me because I'm 6'2" & I'm a bit cramped with these seats. I've got them on Ebay bare but I also have the M.B. adaptor plates & rails if anyone is interested but bear in mind you'll have to be under 5'10" or have short leg...

I'm wrecking an '86 Mighty Boy, F8B not running missing inlet manifold & carby, auto (pretty sure it's a 550 trans) good guards doors & glass, all parts available.
Happy to post or courier parts anywhere in Aust.

Re: Automatic transmissions.

Cheers Brayden, :thumbup1: I had a bit more of a search around the forum & found a thread from 2005 that makes it look like the trans I have in my Black 'Boy is from the 800 & If the final drive ratio is taller than the 550 trans I'll leave it right where it is. So some 800/Hatch trannys hav...

Automatic transmissions.

Hey guys, I'm hoping someone on here knows their auto trannys, I've got 2 'Boys ATM both F8Bs & both autos & the transmissions have slight physical differences, 1 has Type D cast into the top of the housing & the other doesn't. I'm thinking one might be the original 550 trans & the o...
