going to tassie for the boat festival.
might buy a car there if a good one comes up, looking for a VB VK commodore. where would be a good place to find one, and do vehicles have to be inspected when sold? or is it just a straight out transfer?

there is a f800 going in the auto auctions in perth at the Fowles auctions at the airport.
looks in fairly good nick but i have not actually inspected just seen the pics.
could be worth rebuilding or as a spource for a f543 upgrade.
don't ask me to do it i am 300k away.

check the electric fan is working before you go to the time and expense of a new radiator. could be just a loose wire or faulty sensor.

the f8 goes straight in to the f5 cradle so they are the same. Suggest the problem is the engine mount that goes to the firewall, some of them are different and need to be changed.

you won't need to swap the cradle unless you are going auto/manual or manual auto.
if you are putting a 543 box in behind a 800 you will find the revs a bit excessive and low top speed and high fuel consumption, all basically because of the high revs.

There were a couple of variants fitted both boxes depends how early or late model they were.
You have to change the whole thing over.(housing etc)
easier to fit another speedo cable.

all up weight with MB on board would not require brakes as far as I know. should reduce costs a bit. also there are trailers already available that are basically an axle with a tow hitch you hook on to you tow bar and sit the front wheels of the MB on the axle. See Mobi tow.

the speedo cable needs changing there is no adapter thing, there are 2 types of cable.
