Re: Wtb cappuccino parts

Log into clubcappo.co.uk and there are many Austrlian members with cappo's that may be able to help you if you post your request in the wated section. Also look up "Suzukigeek" on there as he is in Sydney but can source most parts from Japan. In the wanted/for sale section there are 2 sepe...

Re: may have success yet again

^ Agreed, total bullshit.

For a max of about $ 1,500.00 you could have either of the ones Brayden mentioned above tuned fairly well also as long as you fit it yourself.

Re: help needed

There are a few different versions of the stock ecu's.
For example the pin outs and plug are different on the Alto ecu to a Cappo ecu.

I may have and ecu from an F100M kit for sale soon, but am just deciding.

Re: mb at test and tune

It may be best to get someone with a FWD F6A to post a couple of pic's of the valve for you. If you look at the Adaptonic info I sent you the valve is controlled by the ecu in 3 ways. Firstly there is a minimum effort setting of about 15 to 20%. Second and third - the valve is controlled by water an...

Re: supercharged carry carby problems

I know of a couple of people that have used an old XF (I think) Ford single point injection setup.
It's pretty basic and bolts onto a standard 2 barrel webber carbie adaptor plate.

Re: mb at test and tune

Not sure on a FWD F6A engine but on a Cappo it's on a bracket on the inlet manifold at the rear of the motor with another valve.
I will see if I can post or send you a pic or diagram.

I know though on the Cappo engine it's important to get it set correctly to idle properly.

Re: mb at test and tune

If you still have the Inlet Air Control Valve (IACV) fitted it could be to do with the settings in your ecu for its operation.
We had some adjustments to do with this when fitting the Adaptronics to the cappo's.

I think "Sneaza" may have one for sale soon.
Have a look in the wated section as he has a post or 2 up in there and you could PM him.

Re: Steve's F6A...

^ Yep, us Cappo guy's have heaps of map and base files which we have swapped around with great success.

At the end of the day its personal choice though and where you can get support when needed which you will with any aftermarket ecu.

Re: Steve's F6A...

The bottom end of the F6A motors is very strong anyway so you may not have to go to do all of the upgrades. Anymore than say 100 RWKW and you will have to upgrade the gearbox also. Turbo sounds a tad big to me but that's up to the individual a GT12 would be my choice. Anyway I am on the Sunny Coast ...

Re: K6A

The K6A motors were in thge later model Cappuccino's after 95 build I think.

They are basically the same as an F6A apart from a timimg chain instead of a belt and some minor other differences like the exhaust manifold has 6 bolts and an F6A has 4.

Re: need help have no spark

From experience you have to set the ingition to 5 degrees BTC during cranking for an F6AT.
Any more or any less and they are difficult to start.

^ Yes DOHC has a reluctor type. 3 pulses per cam shaft revolution.
