Re: Now the MB Build thread
Ok so I have entered this thing in the local hill climb here is Canberra next weekend to see how it goes. Will be interesting to see if the sway bar really does make a difference, you don't get many laps though so I don't know if I will sacrifice one with the bar disconnected to see the difference. ...

Re: F8b Exhaust manifold preEGR
Not too sure what the issue is but it sounds like you have an egr exhaust and a not egr inlet and are trying to match the two up. If so i have a blanked off egr bung here from that g10a that might fit.

Re: Now the MB Build thread
Well to do it the same as mine you will need the following: 14mm rear sway bar from a Toyota Sprinter (other early model corolla may work but I don't know) The two D bracket and bushes to hold it onto the rear axle The two drop links that go between the bar and the chassis bracket The two chassis br...

Re: Now the MB Build thread
It was too dark last night to take the photos but I will get some over the weekend and pop them up. The sway bar is from a Toyota Sprinter (it was the old one I had lying around from my race car) I just made up some mounts to weld to the rear beam and welded the mounts to the rear chassis rails. In ...

Re: Now the MB Build thread
No more work done at this stage on the EFI but the 14mm rear sway bar is all mounted up and ready to go. Just took it for a quick spin and it is heaps better. The under steer that was there is completely gone, tucks in nicely now and just zips around the corner happy as you like. I am still thinking...

Re: Extreme unstable ride?
I got my front end bits from suzi store. Never had a problem getting stuff, it was around $500 delivered for all the front end stuff including strut tops.

Modified MB for sale Canberra
Hey guys, Not in any great hurry to sell but space at my house is at a premium and I need some cash to finish of the race car so I thought that I would pop this up and see what sort of response I would get. I realise that some may think that the price is a little on the high side but I think it is r...

Re: Now the MB Build thread
Ok so the engine is happy, all leaks are fixed and the sub frame has been tidied up. Time to get started on the EFI. Before I pull the ECU of the sprinter though I wanted to make sure that I had the thing running as it hasn't started in over a year. There is a long story attached that involves the n...

Re: Now the MB Build thread
Ok little update, the water leak has been fixed. $3.80 for a new water pump gasket. The ITB adapter is good to go as well everything lines up quite well. I will just have to blend the ports a little when I put it on properly but I will not worry about that at the moment. The only other thing that I ...
