The Federation of Australia was conceived by Earl Grey's Privy Council in 1849 and was based upon what became section 92 of the Australian Constitution. Intercourse among the States whether by internal carriage or ocean navigation shall be absolutely free. (And we thought Earl Grey was a tea) Page 8...

Thank you Ferdie and Braydon for such enlightening seriousness, I mean we wouldn’t want the brainless masses reading my light hearted amusement and taking it as serious as some, would we? While the M/B might be the 4th most dangerous car in the land I cannot possibly see the Carry being any less dan...

[quote= a fibreglass body kit will alter the original crash test result, ....[/quote] I think I'm correct in saying that the Mighty Boy is the 4th most dangerous car on Australian roads and with so many guards rusting I am sure the fibreglass isn't going to make them any more dangerous. Unfortunatel...

Interesting question Tez, the hand held $500 ones I set to 4 cyl but the big fancy super dooper computer one today didn't even ask for the number of cylinders.

Who's first with the correct answer to this problem?

Here's a question for all you mechanically minded people. I have been trying to tune the Carry, and of course to do a proper tune requires the adjustment of dwell, 52 degrees, I used an expensive dwell meter but regardless of the points gap I could only get 80 deg on the meter. "Crap meter"...

Anniversary

I am raising my glass in celebration of a very special event. Some may see it as an unfortunate event while others will want to celebrate, either way who could blame them. Wars have been fought over it; wars have become far more destructive because of it. Hundreds of million of people have died beca...

I wrote a note and put it on the black one telling him about our run last Sunday with the Tamon web address, but I didn't have time to stop to do the same with the yellow one.

2 M/B's

Interestingly at Swinburne TAFE in Wantirna Vic on Wednesday & Thursday there was a black M/B and on Friday in the same car park space the black one had parked was a yellow one. They must be popular in Wantirna.

Maybe I am wrong, I thought if a car was not tuned correctly it would have more power than an untuned engine, it certainly went better after it was tuned. What is a C16?

Move aside there's a new King in town!

Today I put my Super Carry on the Dyno. I was hoping to tune it while it was on there, actually I thought that was the reason it was going on it. But no, once it was mentioned that mine was going on everyone wanted theirs on it so we checked out our kW at the wheels. I was told the Carry was the sma...

My Super Carry with the F10A started giving me problems and one was the petrol continually leaked from the accelerator pump on the carby. It was a mystery because it had been rebuilt and had never had this issue before. My mechanic discovered that the fuel return pipe where the fuel exists the carby...

I reckon any after market or electric fuel pump from a carby engine will suffice. I'd be looking in a wrecking yard.

I t was a great day, seeing places and roads Joanne and me didn't know existed, seeing the horrifically burnt forest rejuvenating (incredible), seeing land where homes once housed happy families, seeing very little rebuilding (probably waiting for the fire commission to tell them how to rebuild), se...

I had a Triumph Trident motor bike many years ago that had this issue, but I could never hunt the problem down so I traded it on a very rare Vincent Black Lightning. The new owner found the problem, the connecting rod bearings where extremely tight and that stopped it operating under load. Just a th...
