Re: Later model Swift G10A + gearbox into a MB
Sorry for the absence and lack of reply! I have been super busy lately! And by lately I mean this year. As Brayden said I am currently using the templates and modding them as I go so I can come up with a bit of a bolt-in solution. It's just a long term project though as I don't really have the space...

ACT - All the downforce in the world!
Pulled this beauty out of the parts pile. Don't think I can ever handle that much downforce again! It was fitted to my old white ute when it was in its "mock race form". 1350 long and sits about 200 high. It is fully adjustable and made of super light weight alloy. Open to all offers but o...

ACT- free to good home stripped F8B - for parts - SOLD
G'day guys. Clearing the garage out and have come across the old F8B that was pulled many moons ago when I cracked a piston ring land. Come take it away. I also have the head and most of the parts that are still kicking around from it. some parts are unable to be reused but there is still some good ...

Re: Speedo wiring
The way I have done it several times in the past is by printing the wiring diagram out on A3 paper (the more copies you have the better), break out a highlighter, ruler, test light and a multimeter and start prodding the loom while flicking switches and checking against the wiring diagram. Write dow...

Re: Extreme unstable ride?
Forgot to add that if you are searching for parts through places, some wont have reference for the MightyBoy (SS40T), but may have them for the Hatch and Alto of the same era (SS40V and SS80V). SS40V is drums all around and has a different rear brake hose setup and SS80V has different rear spring se...

Re: Extreme unstable ride?
-Front shocks are no longer available. Search for what guys have done with Matiz and SA Swift gear for that. Rear you can get new from a few places. Koni have a VW part that suits, and is available in an adjustable "sport" model but if you are just looking at new for old, not really worth ...

Unfortunately due to a bit of an incident Garry won't be able to make it, but I will still come for a drive to join you guys in the Pulsar as you won't be far away. Unless of course Colin has a spare seat and wants to swing by Albatross and pick me up..?

Re: Stock as a Rock Intake
Like a few others, I'm pretty sure I have the gear you need sitting on a shelf at home. If you haven't done anything by the weekend I will confirm for you. I still run the original intake setup. Garry takes on those cold Canberra winter nights and mornings with out any sign of carby freeze!

Re: (NSW) Spring cruise ideas thread
That date seems pretty decent at this time. A week before NSW School holidays start. They are doing a bit of roadwork on K-Valley at the moment. Just cleaning up a few stretches by the looks of it. I have been driving it weekly in Garry and have had no dramas what-so-ever. Beautiful drive, just hope...
