In saying this the wheels sizing is the same f...

Re: supercharger for mightyboy on ebay
So long as you get a pulley for the sc made at the correct boost it won't be an issue, the issue is that it's hard enough to fit an amr300 yet alone the 500 again I don't know what others have done. Here is a link to the specs if you want to work out pulley sizes. http://superchargersunlimited.com/s...

Re: Piston Coatings
the guy finally called me back and said nitriding is not the way to go, as for the cryogenic treatment is $100 for block, pistons, rods, crank and cam! So since the engine is fully rebuilt now ill take it in on friday, reading other forums on cryogenic people seem to have mixed opinions but ohh well...

Re: Piston Coatings
So I just rang up a company and said I would have to be specific about the compound of which the pistons are made from??? Although he was nice enough to say he would find out for me. Another option he said is cryotemp which is supposed to harden components ie. Pistons, crank, cylinders etc. Here is ...

Piston Coatings
So doing a little random research, i came across a couple of forums that spoke about getting engine internals nitrided. Apparently its supposed to increase the hardness of standard pistons, do not know how accurate this is but i though id see if any of you have ever heard of it before. Also another ...

Re: F5/6/8 SUPERCHARGER KITS add your own pipes....etc
Like to know who here has put one of these on? Can anyone confirm the type of crank pulley used? Also wouldn't a amr500 be better for an f8b?

Re: F8B Block
Fair enough, was it overly complicated or pretty straightforward for the efi setup? I could imagine it costing a couple of thou though. As you could tell pretty new to the scene have been reading a bit just a little stuck which way to go, n/a, carby turbo, efi turbo or s/c

Re: F8B Block
i spoke to a mob here in bris (chilton engineering) about me wanting to turbo an f8b and he said forged pistons for sure, so i rang up another place and quoted me $1450! id rather run the risk of the engine blowing, im sure ill find cheaper i still dont know how im going to turbo the beast either ca...
