Spare F8B I had for my mightyboy. Ran into a compliance problem as the mightyboy is an 88 model and the engineer told me the F8B probably wouldn't pass the emission tests for cars manufactured from 1/88. (NSW)

That's what I thought when I saw the picture. Motor looked almost identical to the Hatch when I bought it. Was there a 3 cylinder 1.3l? I thought they were all 4cyl.

New Guidelines for Light Vehicle Modification

Just looked at the new guidelines in NSW for engine modification. http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/downloads/vsi/vsi06.pdf On the top of page 3 under replacement engines there is a formula for maximum engine capacity on replacement engines. Recently pulled a F8B apart to rebuild. Counted the teeth on the belt. There are 88 (eighty eight) teeth on the timing belt. Try checking with Suzisport re parts and cost. (No I don't work for them :) ) They have lots of Suzuki parts including Mightyboy and Hatch. http://www.suzisport.com/contact.asp
