Re: Possible diff centre?
G'day Still investigating and have been told that a front Vitarra or a Jimny rear diff centre may fit. If so, then LSD will also be available. Trouble is that I have not found any of those around here either. Another update is that Jimny diffs are 22 splines on the front and 26 splines on the rear. ...

Possible diff centre?
G'day I have been chasing a lower diff ratio in my 1999 van and think that the 4wd Ignis rear diff may be compatible. In Oz we got them as the Holden Cruze... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suzuki_Ignis#Chevrolet_Cruze The diff ratios are Holden Cruze AWD manual Final drive ratio std: 4.105 Holden Cru...

G'day
I know that there are not many of the later vans about anywhere. They were too expensive. The Chinese make a knock-off and can sell it for $5000 new. No wonder there are over a million of them made so far.

G'day
I note that they still have the sliding side doors so the chassis must be substantial. I wonder how the front end holds it all up.

Full body kit and more
G'day I am in discussions with a bloke to get some of the below items including body kits and headlights. Is anyone else interested? The pricing will be very attractive. http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/bb11/blackbedford/rearwings.jpg http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/bb11/blackbedford/headlight....

Re: G16 motor in a 1999 Carry van.
On another note.... Eventually I was going to build another G16b to almost 1.8L but recently been measuring an M18a and low and behold it is shorter than a g16b and almost just as wide. Problem is the manual box again. would love an auto Will the twin cam head fit in the Carry? That was the problem...

G'day That is an interesting read. I noted "an S14 strut brace that has been modified to fit the Carry" I am not sure that the Carry would benefit much as there is a firewall. I have sent an inquiry about the front bumper to: http://www.aeroimagegarage.com/ That would look nice on my van.

Re: G16 motor in a 1999 Carry van.
G'day I am currently traveling over 2000kms per week around the Central West of NSW in my Carry Van doing service work. The roads range from twisty mountain roads to the long straight runs of the plains. I have 165/75/13 on the front and 185/65/15 on the back. The van runs just under 3K revs at 102k...

Re: G16 motor in a 1999 Carry van.
G'day Sorry I have been working at Brewarrina, which is far away from civilization. I did 900kms today in my Carry van dodging kangaroos, emus, pigs, goannas, but aiming for foxs. The hub looks the same as mine. I just trimed back the plastic bit to clear the Carry column surround. I haven't done an...
