Awesome cheers just trying to make a little rocket with a lot of pickup and go for around town. Trying to work out the best way to do it

Where did you get the body kit for the little yellow rig or was it a custom job ??

Been reading posts and people have been saying the 5a 4sp is a closer ratio box to the 800, so wandering if that + a smaller turbo would give better acceleration and pickup than a bigger turbo and f8b gearbox on a f8b motor ?? i dont much care for top speed, i prefer the pickup for hooning around to...

its not making any out of the ordinary sounds, so I think Im ok there

well using a timing light it shows that is fairly good. I'm not a big mechanic im just learning, my old man is teaching me as we go trying to work it all out

I'm getting all the ideas I can so we can pull it apart and really get into it next week

So keen to get it running smooth

the timing plate is missing but the idle is around 900 and yea motor is all standard

ok so with my f8b na when i put the foot down in any gear the car will die down a bit then pick up ... i assume its a timing issue but not to sure as we have played with the timing a lot. Could it be spark plugs as autobarn didnt have the exact plugs so we went to the next model of plug.

please update with how it goes i was reading up on them and people were saying they were useless. I have always been a bit skeptical of them.

I have an F8B atm non turbo.

Chasing ideas on if i should just turbo that or try something different like a rotary or a v4, although im not sure whats legal and what isnt.

What is the biggest size motor you can legally put in these little buggies ??
