Re: Front bar

Achillies make that size tyre.

We found the same lack of availability here in Australia.

Apparently quite a common size in Europe.

Re: Mattys Mightyboy

We cheated and used the carpet out of a Daewoo Matiz and are currently retrimming the rear wall and seatbelt cover panels. We made new door cards but re-used the original Suzuki vinyl as plain vinyl may have looked a bit ordinary. We've also covered all painted areas in the cabin so there isn't any ...

Re: Mat's '88 Suzuki Mighty Boy Project.

We're in the process of installing Nissan S15 seats in ours and trial fitting say they will work OK.

Re: Dan's Yellow MightyBoy (yet to be named)

Our Boy had the exact same cracks in it when we got it.  Some fat dude must have owned it.

We replaced the floor with a Matiz floor and use the Matiz mounting points with Nissan S15 seats.

Well done on the drive across.  A brave undertaking in an "unknown" car.

Re: The resurrection of 'Special Ed'

I hope 165x50x14 work as that's what we have on our Boy and we haven't driven it more than 2 metres yet.

165x50x14 are hard to find.  Only available brand in Sydney was Achilles from Jax.

Re: Angas' Mightyboy Project Log

Could you mount the relays on their side with short legs to act as jumpers.

That way it would may still fit in the box.

They look really interesting.

I'll bet you were less than happy when you realised your error.

Looks like you're progressing well.

Brayden, I'm a Moderator on the lextreme.com Forum (for 1UZ fans) and it has basically died in the last 4 years but of late it is picking up traffic. I think as people have said, FB is easier to access so people hang there but you can't beat a Forum for information. I have a FB page but haven't chec...

Problem solved.

POR15 to the rescue.

I sealed at least 20 pinholes in the tank.

Re: Angas' Mightyboy Project Log

Angas, You may have a potential customer here. We are fitting a Chery dash into a Daewoo dash that in turn is fitted to a Mighty Boy. The Chery dash looks like it is looking for C/B info for temp and fuel gauges. I'm following with interest. Could you calculate fuel economy off the injector pulse wi...

'MB Fuel Tank

I'm in need of a new fuel tank to replace our rusty/holey one.

I'm based in Sydney but happy to travel if needed.

If I can't get a decent one I may end up POR15íng the tank.

Re: Conversion to g15a in a suzuki super carry

The only way to make it run like it should is with a factory ECU. Sure you can intercept the current setup and fudge the ECU into running "sort of all right" but getting it spot on will take dyno time and that would cost more than having it sorted out professionally. Try searching here- ht...
