Gadj's MB running but still need wiring diagram.

Well. I finally have my M.B. running. I have been slowly eliminating possibilities but the breakthrough was thanks to a comment made by John Rooth in 4wd Monthly,s Bush Mechanic's Challenge 2 while working on his Pajeros fuel pump 'In the old days you would put a jerry can on the roof & run a ho...

The adaptor plate does not change the carby position/orientation. It merely acts to alter the bolt positions ie: adaptor bolts to manifold and carby using different bolt positions. & yes it does "funnell" from the larger webber to the smaller manifold (slight offset in funnell). The it...

Hey, Pony tail - you had better click on Colins profile buttton, you will find he has his tongue firmly planted in his cheek when he knocks his own trade - from what I have seen in Colins posts, he is one of the trustworthy many who are shot down by the actions of the dodgy/greedy/unscrupulous few.....

Have a look at www.por15.com.au their 'Fire Seal' should repair your manifold efectively. Your alternative is to have extractors made up - why bother when you will have to have extractors or manifold custom fitted for the turbo. Fire seal will cost around $30.00 - extractors over $150.00.

My tray had about 3Kg of bog holding it down - I axed it & spent $30.00 on a part sheet of downgrade steel checker plate. I mig welded it in, applied seam sealer & painted it. Pity it was rushed but it looks great. I can now stand in the tray without it flexing. I strongly sugest y'all check...

Brayden, isn't the cb61 the mild turbo that made Aust. in the earlier Charades? I'm sure I have seen another version - cb100 that is wild - same block, twin cam, intercooled etc

115 back to 110 ain't so bad... used to drive a Honda TN350 (like a Carry trayback but only 2cyls air cooled rear eng). It would make 105Km/h flat out on the flat but that same truck that robbed you of 5Km/h would have left the TN350 doin' 60Km/h. I sadly miss that little truck - it was amazing what...

Try www.garrmax.com.au. I can't guarantee their help but I know they helped the previous owner of my MB out with bearings for the F8B - they found Matiz bearings were suitable. Go figure!
