Was planning on leaving room for oil cooler, or considering using civic radiator from an auto with trans oil cooler built in. Yes, i know the oil will heat up quicker but thats not al...

Re: Steve's F6A...

A GT2026 is about bang on for a built 1L, or a streetable 1.3. On a 660 it would come on late and hard, so the motor will need to be high revving, and coupled with a bulletproof box. I can imagine 20 pound plus coming on at about 5000RPM will lead to many stripped teeth! (not before a lot of torque...

Steve's F6A...

Hey all, figured i'd better start thinking about building this F6A twin cam that i've had for a while now. (Damn 4x4's are fun but steal so much time any money from you) OK, Specs So Far: Pistons - Forged JE units from here about 10-12 months back Rods - Thinking about billet steel rods made on the ...

Re: F5/6/8 TURBO/HEADER FLANGES

How thick are these units?
Will they suffice at a plate for a turbo manifold?

Edit: haha! just re read the title... how thick are they anyway?

Hey mate, you still got the driveshafts, struts, springs and shocks?
Which car are they out of... CA/CC72v? or a HA/HB shape?
Can anyone confirm that they'll fit (without too much trouble) in the MB

Re: Mighty boy fun

Going from F5A to F8B is friggin' awesome! You get sooo much more torque and power from the 800cc. When i first read about the 800 conversion adding like 10-15kw i didnt think it would really feel like much but damn, i was wrong. Cant imagine going back to the F5A now... An F5A with an auto is fun w...

Re: Suzuki Hatch 800 carby/overfuelling problems

I'd be betting it's the lose piece in the top of the carbie... mine was lose when i first did my F8B conversion and it would overfuel and die if i was revving under about 1/2 - full throttle... Pain in the ass... i spoke to recarb at kawana about fixing it and they wanted some stupid amount of cash....
