Re: QLD - Gold Coast Cruise 12th MAY
Looks like 2 cappo's from clubcappo are coming. Me in KOF33 (silver) and Japtaxi in his red one. I am coming from the Sunshine Coast and Japtaxi lives in Brisveges so we are going to meet at 10AM at the BP Yatala (Jacobs Well turn off) on the south bound freeway first and then head down to Southport...

Re: F6a turbo
Yes, stock internals. The Hitachi is a bit bigger than the stock turbo and apart from having to gring one lump off the compressor housing it bolts straight on. It has about the characteristics as the GT12 but as I said are quite hard to find out here. You could get one from Japan through the usual s...

Re: F6a turbo
A GT12 is a good upgrade but there will be a bit more lag and you do need to make a new oil feed line and inlet/outlet fittings on the compressor side. A popular turbo upgrade is a Hitachi HT07 which do bolt straight on but they are hard to find. It's not much good fitting a larger turbo unless you ...

Re: Throttle body upgrade f6a
As above flow testing is obviously the best to determine what's required.
I decided not to as after researching a lot of heavily modified Japanese F6A cappo's (Fighter Engineering, etc.) most of them retain the standard one.

Re: Throttle body upgrade f6a
I just finished rebuilding a cappo F6A and had the head and manifold ports matched and the manifold cleaned up a fair bit by a head rebuilding place.
It wasn't flow tested but the guy at the head place reckoned it was ample for a 660cc motor.

Re: F6A wiring diagram
Is it an F6A turbo?
The pin outs are slightly different if it is between ecu's for Cappos, Alto's, AZ1's, etc.
I have the Cappo pin out if that helps.
