Re: Pimp Wagon + White Smoke = Not good?

Talking about reviving an 4 year old thread!!! What can I say, this is one hell of a long rebuild. Before I go on, like to apologise before hand for a long post, best to go grab a cuppa...read on. Latest Update: Since my last reply, back in Oct 2012! lets just say the rebuild has run into the follow...

Front windscreen mould

Hi all, Question with regards to the Carry's front windscreen, partically the '88 model. I'm pretty sure the prior years share the same windscreen. Is the winscreen the sealant type or pop in type, like the side windows? A few years ago I bought a windscreen rubber mould for the local model to repla...

Re: Alto Works Clutch Cable

The Beard,

Give this mob a try http://www.yokohamamotors.com/.

They were able to find hard to find parts for my Van, send them an email with your VIN and tell them what you need.

Cheers.

Hi All, It's been a while since my last post, 1 year and 3 months or there about to be exact! :-o Just to give you all up to speed, since my last posts. My mechanic has my engine to have it rebuilt and I said....take your time, and take our time we did :) Soon after I dropped off my engine back then...

Re: Pimp Wagon + White Smoke = Not good?

The F5A is in the middle of getting a rebuild at the moment. Anyone know what type of turbo is off the F5A? Mechanic is going to get a quote to see how much to rebuild is but would like to look around to see how much these cost. Also, what are people thoughts of getting rid of the engine fan and rep...

Re: Pimp Wagon + White Smoke = Not good?

Hi All, It's been a while since my last update, so I thought I better post something as some of you might be wondering where's the Pimp Wagon these days? Well since then, I have managed to remove the engine a few months ago and just recently gave the engine to my mechanic to rebuild, told him no rus...

Re: Nissan Cube

Back on topic... I ended getting a Nissan Cube for a bargain, it's a '04 Cube Cubic (7 Seater) CVT auto (with 6 speed manual shift) with smart key (you can open the doors and start the car while leaving the keys in your pocket) it's light silver/green in colour. It's stock standard besides the chrom...

EOI: 1987 Suzuki Alto Works RS-R [VIC]

Hi All, This is a EOI. My brother is thinking of getting rid of his car, it's a 1987 Suzuki Alto Works RS-R. Little info can be found in the link below: http://www.tamon.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2935&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight= Nothing much has changed since the day ...

Thanks Brayden and NozMonkeys for your input. From the sounds of things, it doesn't sound too difficult. Question, with disconnecting the radiator hoses, the radiator stays where it is while the engine comes out? Reason why I ask is that a while ago I wanted to see if I can remove the radiator to ge...

Hi all, It's been a while since I touched the Van and I'm at the stage where I want to get it up and running again. As others has suggested, time for rebuild I think, I'm mechanically minded as I did swap the engine in my GTi. Although that was done from the top, but for the Van, it's from the botto...

Update: Well, we had enough of Cappuccino Sport, promise after promise with no results and still with NO timing belt, PayPal has refunded our money. Our last resort is Greenline, we contacted them during the week and from the email reply, they say they have it in stock and ready to ship. Not sure to...

A BIG thank you to holk! Picked up the clutch from him last week and dropped it off at my mechanic, perfect match! In one of my replies above, my mechanic found a place in QLD that could order the timing belt from Japan, my brother called up to provide payment details and it was all set, I don't wan...
