12" hub caps are tricky to find.
Get a set of stock swift rims, then you can get 13" hubs to fit.

A door could be tricky unless you get one in the early stages of wrecking.
Out of interest whats up with your current one?

F6A DOHC  je forged pistons, they were a custom set, I believe 4 sets had to made as a minimum order.

My F6A is a SOHC, and it is unlikely I will ever replace the motor. So I will make these available to anybody doing a build and wants to grab them.

Interesting to hear the pros and cons

Apparently convex mirrors are an aftermarket replacement option for MBs. Most forums seem to talk of converting modern cars with standard convex back to flat mirrors. I have always thought the convex wider view was a good thing.

What are your thoughts?

We wont be joining this year. Pitty, Im lucky to drive it once a month at the moment.

Due to a redundancy last year, and a having a few months off without work this year my attendance is questionable. Currently working in retail on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays ...on a good week.

Be careful when fiddling near the metal edge that is exposed when you remove the rubber headliner trim. It can be razor sharp in places. I've never had any rubber trim in any of my boys. When mine was sloppy it was the nylon bushes at bottom of the shifter. Got them from suzi shop. 2 of them were required, access is easy under the car.
