Nah a Budgy is a version of the Alto with a 'fun top' style opening roof.

Well first we need to establish whether you have an Alto Budgy or MightyBoy Squirt!

hello again mate, i bought it as a budgy and i think the chap said there were three in nsw [ ? ] at the time . all relevant paperwork has been misplaced hence questions. apart from minor repairs she s ready 4 rego. i bought a vitara vinyl roof which i was going to modify & stitch my self but may go another way for rego presentation . cheers & thx les

I might be confused, but from memory the Budgy has most of the roof panel removed, with a canvas panel inserted; so there are no structural changes. From what you are saying about your Alto it sounds like the rear windows and tailgate have been removed?
