Hey all

I have an old 1998 Hyundai Excel that would be better off at the wreckers but the air con system in it still works. the excel is not as small as the mighty boy and i might find some trouble with spacing for the compressor behind the block but by eye it looks like it could be done. i just want to know anyone's thoughts on this, and i know it would be much easier finding an older smaller car like a Daewood its just a matter of finding one and spending.

Thanks

I reckon the most difficult part will be finding a way of putting the excel evaporator into the MB heater box.

Alright so the Ac compressor is 130mm in diameter (the pulley) and 190mm deep (from clutch to back) i am sort of second guessing if this will fit.
before i go chopping things up i sort of think it will fit between the block and the firewall, what do you think?

F series factory A/C has the compressor on the front of the motor, with the alternator moved to the rear.
