so as the title goes, how low is it possible to go at the front?
iv heard of using gti? springs to bring it down a bit and i think someone used brand new struts from something else to get it lower.

Lowered Swift springs give a 30-40 drop, and you can get another 25mm by using Swift struts. The limits on lowness are the steering arms (which eventually hit the body), and taking the control arms past horizontal makes the handling terrible and creates bump steer.

the only limit is how far your willing to go in modifying your car to get the look your after.  Ive dropped mine nearly 4 inches, but that comes with some pretty serious body mods + pretty much everything suspension wise has been modified.

copy/paste the link at the bottom of my post, has my entire build thread :P

I used WRX front coilovers, but there is nothing bolt-in about them.  you need to make new strut tops & lower mounts.
