knocking/creaking noise when taking off and braking ?

Hi all,

Today my alto has developed a knocking/creaking when taking off and braking ?
The steering is also sloppy, pretty scary at times too.

It pretty much happens when there is movement either forward or back.

I'm guessing it might be the strut.
I jacked it up and had a look, but nothing looked out of the ordinary.

Any ideas what it is ?

swaybar come lose at the front?

Yeah sounds like the front swaybar mounts (or bushes) are stuffed.

I replaced the rubbers for the swaybar about 6-8 months ago.

And it didnt seem lose at all.

Could it be something worse ?
