Is there a limit to the number of times post's can be edited :?: I would like to edit some of my older post's in the build area but that option (edit) is not available :?: for some of my older post's.

I haven't set a time limit on post editing, so there should be no reason you can't edit old posts, regardless of age.+

Thanks Brayden I'll have another go....well I still cant edit my early posts ....maybe its because the build (projects) post is one long post and I can only edit the last post and none earlier? :NFI: .

You should be able to edit them all, unless you've registered a new account of course.

-edit-

Actually I just noticed that the projects section had no permissions assigned to it, which I have now fixed. Can you check again and post a screenshot just to confirm that the edit button is still not at the top of each of your posts?

The other thing I notice is ,it is only the last post that shows me as "online" all post's should show me as "online" when I'm on :?: .

Hmmm. Sounds like it could be a problem with your account. I'll look into it. In the meantime try a different browser, and flush your cache.

I have been able to confirm it is a global problem, nothing specific to your account. Unfortunately the permissions system for PHPBB3 is a nightmare, so I'll have to sit down and nut it out sometime soon.

Just an update to say that I haven't managed to find the source of the problem, but I haven't forgotten about it!

Trying again at the moment to put my finger on the solution. :fingersx:

I've made a few more tweaks and registered a standard user account to check. Lo and behold there was an edit button!

Can anyone else confirm that it appears (and works) for them?

Hi Brayden.
No probs for me - my edit button works fine... :snigger:

I just edited a post I made earlier today in another thread and added a smilie.

Worked a treat.

Then decided to edit this post and add another smilie... :NFI:
