The biggest reason you need the G13BB box is for the cable selector system. A direct shift from a Sierra won't work unless you want the shifter behind the front seats.

Thanks again, Brayden.

The shift stick would come out very far behind the front seats,
welding a longer shift rod is not the option to go

This is one 'HUGE' project!

I am going to have one myself, and hopefully, its not going to take me years as i only have about 2 weeks to do up the major transplant. Going to swap out a F10A for a G13BB.

Bought a complete '99 Carry for the transplant.

Seriously after reading this project, I am extremely tempted to take out my G13B from my GTi for this. Also, i think i have a couple of G16A, G16B from my Vits and a few from my SJ410 & SJ413.

Maybe some advise from Carry experts: Which is the easiest with the least mod to transplant?
Due to legal restraints, this transplant should look 'right' in the eyes of vehicle inspectors.

Cheers.

hi, just a question,

i was reading a previous post that you had in 2008 and you had a GTI twin cam head on a G15A block and you used a Honda timing belt could you tell me what model the belt was e.g the numbers so i can track one down.
