Help needed

Wed Oct 11, 2017 7:18 pm

Hi all. I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this but hoping someone can help or point me in the right direction. I’ve got a Suzuki motor that was rebuilt a few years ago. It was never put back in the vehicle so I guess it’s like new.

The only info I have is as follows:
Engine type f8b
Suzuki oct 82
83 f5a stage 1 race parts.
I can provide pics if needed.

I need it gone but no idea what it’s worth. A fair bit was spent to rebuild it. Can anyone help?

I'm not sure exactly what it's worth sorry, but they are quite popular on here.

The cost to have a shop rebuild an F8B is between $1600 and $2000. If you have receipts to prove, then I'd say $800 isn't out of the question if you're in no urgent hurry to sell.
Without proof then you're selling it as used 2nd hand, maybe $300 if it is complete with manifolds and carby. Does it have a gearbox attached?
