Finally got to replace my Suzuki Carry F5 engine to an F6 12 valve engine. And my mechanic was able to do it in less than two weeks! :)
We could not find a 5 speed manual transmission and we thought the F5 transmission will fit the F6 but we found that it won't fit and there was no available surplus F6 engine with a 5 speed manual transmission. But I'll settle for now with the 4 speed as I really like the power of the F6.

We had already tune-up and change the oil and even put racing air filter and change my tires to 175/60S R13. It has an offset of a less than a half inch. But I don't mind if it often gets dirty as long as my van is stable especially on crosswind along the Highway.

We are still feeling out the fuel consumption and the performance of my ride. I'll be bringing it back to my mechanic after a week to check the engine.

My question is: What is the valve clearance of an F6 and is there anything else that we have to do in such a major engine conversion?

Your advise is very much welcome. :)
Thanks!
