I couldn't help myself - i've bought a non-kei car to replace the 'Boy
Not entirely normal, as it's an Alfa 33.
Unfortunately the price of kei's rising (from fuel prices going up i guess) combined with the lack of quality in them (neglected and/or flogged to near-death) has led to this (short term insane) decision.
But rest assured everyone, as soon as bub's born & it's in daily use, there will be a new "project" started.
Oh no, i've converted

Converted? Nah, lets just call it a "temporary loss of kei sensibility"

Well on the positive side, it still only weighs in at 900kg, but has about 80kW to start with
The new kei 'project' will start as soon as i relocate to a more fitting residence. It's too difficult working out of my place at the moment - drop one spanner on the concrete at 3am & 30-odd people complain... Can't wait to move so i can get started
