Looks nice to work on... lol
Sometimes i hate these small engine bays, then i remember the car is so much fun that it's worth it.
Good luck, keen to see it complete.

Yeah looks good, but I'm thinking you will be going through drive belts pretty quickly due to the very small sector of crank pulley driving the belt.
This could mean slippage on the belt resulting in accelerated wear.
If I am right, you will need to swap to a dual belt set up. ie one belt for alternator, one belt for supercharger.
Gadj.

So many delays to getting my MB back in order with 993cc & 5 speed transaxle... neighbor issue gone, donor shell up on rotisserie, new sheds on the way.... another project also..
yeah, col may have a point. i think these chargers would help put out 70kw on hte 660cc engine it came off but that may have been at the flywheelColin wrote:100 kw from a f8b ...keep dreaming
i',m seriously considering supercharging now...... will be watching your progress keenly

Closer to 47kw at the flywheel.
F8B EFI turbo - Three pots and a snail.
i knew u would write that brayden
i saw this web page though on the AMR300
http://www.zerotohundred.com/newforums/ ... -one.html
here is a quote:
The 660cc supercharged Vivio engine is rated at the class regulation 47kW and has 84Nm of torque, so the AMR300 blower is suitable for only low power applications. This makes sense when you look at the small 45mm OD blower outlet pipe.
We’d be reluctant to push the AMR300 supercharger past 70kW - which means it’s good for only sub 1.0-litre engines.[/i]

Yes thats on a twin cam Vivio engine though, which unlike an F8B can rev past 6500RPM and still make power.
F8B EFI turbo - Three pots and a snail.
with a stock carby and exaust my motor is making power to about 7k. (N/A without supercharger hooked up)
but i dont often rev it that hard, there is no need to.
whaen i get it all running right i will be happy with anything over 70kw (I'm not building a race car here )
the supercharger are easy to find i got mine from AdelaideJap, they pop up on Ebay every now and then as for install you have to get custom brackets made up (the boys at work did mine) and the rest is fairly easy though as you can see there is not much room for the plumbing, but ill work something out
have given it a test run (plumbed with radiator hose from a toyota )but with the stock exaust on it, builds up too much pressure. other than that it all ran fine on the belt and pully side of things.
well i will post some more pics of my next step when i get there and when i finally finish i will do a step buy step guide for everybody
