Yes I know this is a Suzuki forum, or more to the point Mightyboy forum, but I am looking for a replacement turbo for my Mira TR-XX. I thought maybe someone on here had purchased a Mira one at some point with the idea they'd put it on they're Suz but didn't eventuate or whatever.

I am a big fan of what you guys are doing here and have wanted a MB since I was a little kid, just wish there was this kind of org for Mira owners in Aus. I like all the Kei class stuff and am hoping someone out there can help out a fellow kei enthusiast.

EDIT: Actually I would like to hear about any RHB31's or similar going as I am prepared to adapt if needed, just not prepared to spend $1800 on a new one.

Have you tried JustJap or GCG Turbochargers? If they can't get you an RHB31 (Bear in mind there are several variants of the 31, all with different flanges) then they should be able to get you a Garrett GT12 for FAR less than $1800. (Sub $1200 easily)

Thanks for the advise guys. Can the GT12 be run without modifying injectors etc? I had a quick search and have seen them for $850 which I think is fantastic. Has anyone had experience they'd like to share compared to a standard 31? Are these an improved design? Sorry to sound noobish but although I am quite knowledgeable when it comes to cars I'm at an absolute loss when it comes to the turbo on this thing.

The GT12 was designed by Garrett as a high-flow replacement for the 31, so no modifications are necessary to use one, assuming it matches your current exhaust and dump flanges.

Even better! Thanks for your help. Now I'm off to find the right one for my car. I'll let you know how I get on. Just out of curiosity are there many members on here from Perth?

do you know if the turbo is similar to the one on the carby 550cc leeza??
if so then you'll need a new manifold and dump pipe to fit either a gt12 =- or even a stock suzuki turbo
