i just thought i put it out there and see if anyone would be interested in buying my old f5a after i swap it out for my k6a.

known issues:

turbo isn't happy, probably would need a new turbo, needs a next exhaust manifold gasket. No other known issues ( i'd would have fixed those things if it weren't for getting the k6a )

would come with all wiring and bits to make it run, and has the AWD 5spd gearbox. ( no dash )

i would be open to offers, the engine will become available in about 4 weeks time, and shipping would have to be organised by the buyer.

no pics yet, as it's still just sitting inthe car, i can take pics tonight, i'm not sure if the manifold will fit the f8b. you'd have to do a bit of an ask around with people who know.

If the F5A is a twinkie then the manifold won't fit an F8B.

sorry for the late reply, i've been busy of late.
i'm about to take the engine out this week. here is a pic of it still in the car

Image

i really don't know what to ask for the engine, as it does need some work.
the known problems are:
turbo - i'm pretty sure the old one is screwed, as it leaks oil.
and exhaust gasket

also, anyone interested will have to organise shipping mostly
