Wollongong Police and Community Car Show
LOCATION: Kembla Grange Race Course, Kembla Grange.
DATE: Sunday 25th October 2009
COST: $25 per car before the 18th of October. $40 per car after the 18th of October or on the day. First 200 cars will get a free t-shirt.
TIMES:Set-up from 6:30am, so entrants cars need to be there by 8:30am to get a good spot. Finishes at about 2pm.
DEFECTS:Cars entered in the show WILL NOT be defected on arrival, during or leaving the show. But, if you have major safety issues (frayed seat belts etc.) you will be pulled up on it.
Any minor defects such as pod filters, no engineers certs, cages, wheels, tints, bonnets, body kits, exhausts, catch cans, breather filters, turbo kits, intercoolers, ride height etc. will be perfectly fine. Cops HAVE NO intention on defecting anyone at the show.
I have assurance from Lake Illawarra Police that it will be a defect free event, and no number plates, rego's or personal details about entrants cars will be recorded. There will also be NO defect books present at the show.
There will also be various trophies awarded to various things such as BEST SUPPORTED CLUB.
The cops have allocated 1 1/2 parking spots per car.
